Anita Rowland is the illustrator for the children’s picture book “Timba’s Tree”
Anita lives in one of the Adelaide Hills historic hamlets with her partner and their furry companion. Since retiring from a transport business, she now indulges her love of nature with bush walks, exploring local hiking trails and enjoys relaxing in her garden observing life among the leaves.
Anita Rowland has also returned to a long-time passion for portrait drawing and painting and was delighted to take on a challenge in new artistic territory, with Timba’s Tree being her first time illustrating for children’s fiction.
Timba’s Tree emerged as an expression of compassion and love for all the vulnerable beings and fragile ecosystems teetering on the edge of existence.
