Books Online’s Shipping Policy
Shipment processing time
Books Online is owned by Intertype which has comprehensive printing facilities in Burwood Victoria, which means that over 90% of orders are processed within 1 business day of ordering. Occasionally, due to high demand some items are out of stock OR if you’ve purchased a personalised printed item, your items may not ship for 2-3 business days.
You will be notified via email or SMS if there are any further delays to shipping. If the delay isn’t acceptable, you can cancel your order and receive a full refund. Refer to our Returns Policy.
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
All goods are shipped via Australia Post and their normal delivery standards apply. Be aware that the postal network can become overloaded at certain times of the year (ie pre-Christmas) or if there are extenuating circumstances such as experienced in 2020 due to COVID.
Shipment to P.O. boxes
Due to restrictions delivering to PO Boxes, all PO Box orders will be shipped via Australia Post.
Shipment confirmation and order tracking
We look to minimise the cost of shipping. Most book orders are shipped under Australia Post’s letter service which means order tracking isn’t available.
Large books and bulk orders will be shipped via Australia Post’s parcel service or their Startrack bulk shipping service. When this occurs you will receive a tracking number via email and/or SMS.
Please refer to our returns policy if your goods arrive damaged.
International shipping isn’t directly offered via the Books Online website. Contact our customer service team on firstname.lastname@example.org if you require your goods to be shipped to destinations outside Australia.
